FEATURES & APPLICATIONS :
STANLEY HSP 18, is a soft machinable powder for rebuilding iron based components. It is also ideal for repairing holes and filling cracks.

Application Wherever thin corrosion resistant coatings with extremely fine finish are required
STANLEY HSP 28 coatings can be finished by belt sanding. Buffing produces a fine mirror finish. When used for filling defects or holes, CODE 4680 can be easily drilled and retapped with threads.
Melting Temperature: 1875ºF (1024ºC)
Coating Hardness RC 8-11
Application Best for repair on cast irons and other difficult to "wet" metals.
STANLEY HSP 28 coatings produce a metallurgical bond with the substrate and have a smooth texture after fusing. It can be finished to size easily by filing or machining. |
